Subject: [RFC 2/5] CDC-WDM: introduce a timeout in flush()
Date: Wed, 12 Aug 2020 15:20:31 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20200812132034.14363-3-oneukum@suse.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20200812132034.14363-1-oneukum@suse.com>

Malicious or defective hardware may cease communication while
flush() is running. In last consequence we need a timeout,
as hardware that remains silent must be ignored.

The 30 seconds are coming out of thin air.
