Yeah. This was just my best guess at how to preserve development history
and SOB credits.

Figured I'd document how the split was done in the commit so that was
archived too.

That's the plan!

This series will mark 0.0.0a1 (no plans to publish) and then by the end of
the subsequent checkins to add package builds, doc builds, ci etc I'll tag
and publish a v0.0.1. (Possibily with a published v0.0.1a1 first to make
sure everything is wired up right. This will also be useful for testing
qemu.git changes to pull from PyPI.)
