after running nfsd manually i.e
rpc.nfsd 8 ( in /usr/sbin) and after that rpcinfo -p , I am getting the

but without manually running rpc.nfsd 8 i get only the portmapper and
status lines( total 4) .......
what is the problem..CUD it be that my
rpc.nfsd is in /usr/sbin and I have installed the binaries in
/sbin.........
