dmesg with debug patches from comments 88, 93, 95 & 97 applied

Here is dmesg with 88, 93, 95 & 97 applied, it looks strange as non-zero DP=

values are reported from beginning and they never change. Note that EFI
firmware does 'train' this eDP panel properly, as native resolution is set =
from
early boot, EFIfb console keeps the same resolution. I can even tell X to f=
orce
using fbdev driver, the resolution stays the same, resulting in zero flicker
and working display all the way from early boot to GUI login.
