OK, thanks for the info. Good enough for now I guess.

Perhaps it might be nice to send out an acknowledgement ("your
registration has been received"), to
 (a) avoid this question, and
 (b) catch any technical errors (emails not delivered, ...)

But knowing that no response was expected already helps :)
