Subject: [patch 3/3] cpuidle-haltpoll: disable host side polling when kvm virtualized
Date: Tue, 11 Jun 2019 16:40:57 -0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20190611194107.423384855@amt.cnet> (raw)
In-Reply-To: 20190611194054.878923294@amt.cnet
[-- Attachment #1: 03-pollcontrol-guest.patch --]
[-- Type: text/plain, Size: 4829 bytes --]
When performing guest side polling, it is not necessary to
also perform host side polling.
So disable host side polling, via the new MSR interface,
when loading cpuidle-haltpoll driver.
