Subject: [PATCH v6 13/36] opal: add MPIPL interface definitions
Date: Wed, 11 Sep 2019 20:20:12 +0530	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <156821340710.5656.10071829040515662624.stgit@hbathini.in.ibm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <156821308145.5656.2233728784001623843.stgit@hbathini.in.ibm.com>

MPIPL is Memory Preserving IPL supported from POWER9. This enables the
kernel to reset the system with memory 'preserved'. Also, it supports
copying memory from a source address to some destination address during
MPIPL boot. Add MPIPL interface definitions here to leverage these f/w
features in adding FADump support for PowerNV platform.

Changes in v6:
  * Changelog update.
  * Make sure asm/opal-api.h stays consistent with skiboot's opal-api.h
