   2D and 3D-wise ?
   
   I use a G450, it has excellent driver support but the 3D is
   a bit... lacking.

All of the Radeon's blow the G450 out of the water.
I clear 140+ fps easily on quake3 with my Radeon R100 QD
(Radeon 64 DDR)
