Subject: [lustre-devel] [PATCH 140/151] lustre: ptlrpc: add watchdog for ptlrpc service threads.
Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2019 14:56:39 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1569869810-23848-141-git-send-email-jsimmons@infradead.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1569869810-23848-1-git-send-email-jsimmons@infradead.org>

From: NeilBrown <neilb@suse.com>

If a ptlrpc thread takes longer than expected, it
can be used to get a stack trace to see where the
problem is.

This patch restores this functionality by using
a delayed work struct to report a back trace of
the thread if it ever fires.
