Subject: [Qemu-devel] [PATCH v2 47/52] audio: replace shift in audio_pcm_info with bytes_per_frame
Date: Sun, 23 Dec 2018 21:52:23 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <5e8f665e98f07cd5ab4fb5786052e80992b0b947.1545598229.git.DirtY.iCE.hu@gmail.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <cover.1545598229.git.DirtY.iCE.hu@gmail.com>

The bit shifting trick worked because the number of bytes per frame was
always a power-of-two (since QEMU only supports mono, stereo and 8, 16
and 32 bit samples). But if we want to add support for surround sound,
this no longer holds true.
