Is the answer to "A" or "B" ... why not provide both:

$ ls -l /sys/fs/resctrl/mon_data
total 0
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Mar 18 14:01 mon_L3_00
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Mar 18 14:01 mon_L3_01
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Mar 18 14:01 mon_NODE_00
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Mar 18 14:01 mon_NODE_01
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Mar 18 14:01 mon_NODE_02
dr-xr-xr-x. 2 root root 0 Mar 18 14:01 mon_NODE_03

The "L3" entries provide the sum across all SNC nodes sharing the cache. The NODE ones
give the broken out counts.
