I pushed a branch with a prototype authentication and protection implementation: fwymore/authentication.
This branch is not intended to be integrated into the master; only for reference. Permissions are applied to
build objects rather than projects - which don't exist.  If you deploy this branch, it will modify the database.
Some new tables will be created. Users can be created with the admin facility. Groups and permissions have
to be generated manually by running sql commands since there are no management support displays/screens.
