I can't reply to this bug, but maybe someone can pass on the info.

The reason for this is because under qemu, the i82365 module is caught
in a load/unload loop by udev. It's fixed in a new kernel that will be
uploaded to the Ubuntu repo within a day or so

It can be worked around by doing:

"rm -f /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/i82365.ko"
