From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Chris Wilson Subject: [PATCH 10/12] drm/i915: Handle PendingFlip on gen3 robustly Date: Tue, 24 Apr 2012 22:59:50 +0100 Message-ID: <1335304792-17636-10-git-send-email-chris@chris-wilson.co.uk> References: <1335304792-17636-1-git-send-email-chris@chris-wilson.co.uk> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Return-path: Received: from fireflyinternet.com (smtp.fireflyinternet.com [109.228.6.236]) by gabe.freedesktop.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id AD3349F512 for ; Tue, 24 Apr 2012 15:01:01 -0700 (PDT) In-Reply-To: <1335304792-17636-1-git-send-email-chris@chris-wilson.co.uk> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: intel-gfx-bounces+gcfxdi-intel-gfx=m.gmane.org@lists.freedesktop.org Errors-To: intel-gfx-bounces+gcfxdi-intel-gfx=m.gmane.org@lists.freedesktop.org To: intel-gfx@lists.freedesktop.org List-Id: intel-gfx@lists.freedesktop.org We appear to allow too many pending pageflips as evidenced by an apparent pin-leak. So borrow the pageflip completion logic from i8xx for handling PendingFlip in a robust manner. v2: Address Jesse's reminders about the nuances of gen3 IRQ handling.
