From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Pablo Neira Ayuso Subject: [PATCH 09/32] net: ip_fragment: remove BRIDGE_NETFILTER mtu special handling Date: Mon, 15 Jun 2015 23:26:06 +0200 Message-ID: <1434403589-24796-10-git-send-email-pablo@netfilter.org> References: <1434403589-24796-1-git-send-email-pablo@netfilter.org> Cc: davem@davemloft.net, netdev@vger.kernel.org To: netfilter-devel@vger.kernel.org Return-path: In-Reply-To: <1434403589-24796-1-git-send-email-pablo@netfilter.org> Sender: netfilter-devel-owner@vger.kernel.org List-Id: netdev.vger.kernel.org From: Florian Westphal since commit d6b915e29f4adea9 ("ip_fragment: don't forward defragmented DF packet") the largest fragment size is available in the IPCB. Therefore we no longer need to care about 'encapsulation' overhead of stripped PPPOE/VLAN headers since ip_do_fragment doesn't use device mtu in such cases.
