As we add support for more devices struct pmic_wrapper_type will grow and
we do not really want to start duplicating all the elements in
struct pmic_wrapper.

Split init_reg_clock up into SoC specific callbacks. The patch also
reorders the code to avoid the need for callback function prototypes.

With more SoCs being added the list of helper functions like these would
grow. While at it also add a new flag "has_bridge" and use that instead of
pwrap_is_mt8173() where appropriate.

This patch adds a new struct pwrap_slv_type that we use to store the slave
specific data. The patch adds 2 new helper functions to access the dew
registers. The slave type is looked up via the wrappers child node.

This patch adds a new struct pwrap_slv_type that we use to store the slave
specific data. The patch adds 2 new helper functions to access the dew
registers. The slave type is looked up via the wrappers child node.

Add support for MT6323 slaves. This PMIC can be found on MT2701 and MT7623

Hi Henry,

i stumbled across this aswell. however this DEW access is direct using
pwrap_writel() and not indirect pwrap_write(). hence this is correct.
the DEW wrapper only exists for pwrap_write() style access. this might
have been a bug in the original commit.

this patch however keeps the functionality as is.

Hi Henry,

i stumbled across this aswell. however this DEW access is direct using
pwrap_writel() and not indirect pwrap_write(). hence this is correct.
the DEW wrapper only exists for pwrap_write() style access. this might
have been a bug in the original commit.

this patch however keeps the functionality as is.

lets say, half a year it will be easier to remember what every member is 
used for?

yes, it can be run with old and new style pmics. this is why the MAN_CMD
SPI_W bit has changed. the old BIT(13) is used to tell the wrapper what
slave type it has.

there is a way to runtime set the pmic but there is still a detail i
need to look at so it is not part of this series
