Any progress ? There are a lot of SuSE/Red Hat pending patches.

Christophe, how's it going?
Hannes, is there new SuSE patches for upstream?

-thanks-

Hi Xose,

the version has been bumped to 0.6.0 after merging the Red Hat patchset.

Hannes has not submitted the SuSE patchset for inclusion yet, but I'll bump
the version to 0.6.1 if he does.

In the future I will update the version after each significant resync with
the distributor branches.

Best regards,
Christophe Varoqui

Hey, that's unfair. Ben's getting a major version...

But indeed. I've done a patchset, but was holding it off until Bens
patches got merged. Just to avoid any conflict.

(Of course; it's not because I'm lazy :-)

So I'll be updating the patchset and will be posting it shortly.

Not sure if I manage this week, but next week for sure.

Cheers,

Hannes

There is no tag for 0.6.0 at the git repository.
And tar file is missing at web page.

It would be good two major releases per year, aside from
sporadic _critical_ bugs free releases.

Thank you.

CCed: Ritesh, Debian maintainer.

Maybe there is some pending patches for upstream at Debian.

In Debian, we don't have much delta. The only minor (1 liner) patch I see
carrying is:

rrs@learner:~/.rrs-home/Community/Packaging/multipath-tools (master)$ cat
debian/patches/increase-kpartx-retries.patch
https://www.redhat.com/archives/dm-devel/2015-May/msg00087.html

Many users have reported that increasing the retries solves the problem

Hi,

yes, you can expect a formal release before summer holidays.
I still have to catch up with the patches my inbox before.

Hi!

I'm curious, are there any plans to cut a new formal release tarball in
the near future?

The 0.5.0 release was done more than a year ago, and it seems like there
are quite a lot of bug fixes which may benefit everyone. In Ubuntu, I've
so far been cherry-picking patches as necessary, but it's obvious this
can't scale well (and that then important patches may go unnoticed).

Kind regards,
