Subject: [PATCH V5 28/31] smartpqi: update enclosure identifier in sysfs
Date: Thu, 11 Mar 2021 14:17:37 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <161549385708.25025.17234953506918043750.stgit@brunhilda> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <161549045434.25025.17473629602756431540.stgit@brunhilda>

From: Murthy Bhat <Murthy.Bhat@microchip.com>

Update enclosure identifier field corresponding to
physical devices in lsscsi/sysfs.

During device add, the scsi devtype is filled in during
slave_configure.

But when pqi_scsi_update_device runs (REGNEWD):
  * The f/w returns zero for the scsi devtype field,
and valid devtype is overwritten by zero.
  * Due to this lsscsi output shows wrong values.
