Subject: patch "iio:adc:qcom-spmi-vadc: add default scale to LR_MUX2_BAT_ID channel" added to staging-linus
Date: Mon, 15 Mar 2021 16:35:21 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1615822521519@kroah.com> (raw)

This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    iio:adc:qcom-spmi-vadc: add default scale to LR_MUX2_BAT_ID channel

to my staging git tree which can be found at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging.git
in the staging-linus branch.

The patch will show up in the next release of the linux-next tree
(usually sometime within the next 24 hours during the week.)

The patch will hopefully also be merged in Linus's tree for the
next -rc kernel release.

If you have any questions about this process, please let me know.

Subject: iio:adc:qcom-spmi-vadc: add default scale to LR_MUX2_BAT_ID channel

Checking at both msm8909-pm8916.dtsi and msm8916.dtsi from downstream
it is indicated that "batt_id" channel has to be scaled with the default
function:

	chan@31 {
		label = "batt_id";
		reg = <0x31>;
		qcom,decimation = <0>;
		qcom,pre-div-channel-scaling = <0>;
		qcom,calibration-type = "ratiometric";
		qcom,scale-function = <0>;
		qcom,hw-settle-time = <0xb>;
		qcom,fast-avg-setup = <0>;
	};

Change LR_MUX2_BAT_ID scaling accordingly.
