Thomas' plan was for these patches to be applied on a > specific branch on the draft repo. Would that suffice? Yes, it's enough. Please update your branch accordingly to help other contributors work on top of the latest changes. About next- branches, it is used for areas which have an identified experienced maintainer. It is too early for Windows support. I will take care of integrating the first patches in master when the quality level will be sufficient.
