This patch replaces bit shifting on 1 with the BIT(x) macro.
This was done with coccinelle:

This patch replaces bit shifting on 1 with the BIT(x) macro.
This was done with coccinelle:

Most of these replacements add redundant parentheses around the BIT macro.
IMHO this makes the code less readable.
So I suggest (BIT(c)) -> BIT(c).
