Sorry for the noise, but I have twice tried to send a PATCH serie to
this list with a copy to linuxppc-dev@lists.ozlabs.org, it appears
properly in the linuxppc list/patchwork but it still doesn't appear on
linux-crypto.

Is there anything wrong with the list ?

This is just a test of the mailman bounce mechanism: I want to be sure
that I receive bounce messages (they have been filtered by SUSE's mail
server).

Please don't accept, reject or discard this message. I'll do it myself.

In case it makes it to the list: please ignore. :-)

As well as this email I have seen
	<CAFoWEVN_Nu__JSw608GsEsUtkaOXfV-HNk+dyO-ix2mZAUmrYA@mail.gmail.com>
and
	<CAFoWEVPww5rA96qvApmpV9+jkDxmm1BXkXddvf8in8AhaoPcmA@mail.gmail.com>
earlier today (both titled "Available PCIe lanes for VGA passthrough".
They are visible in the archives:
http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2012-01/msg01237.html

This suggests that the error is on your end, or perhaps you have
disabled delivery of your own posts in your mailman options?

Anyway, please contact the list admin if you are having trouble instead
of spamming all of the subscribers to the list.

Ian.

D'oh. I noticed the use of time_before() further down in
ip_vs_lblcr_check_expire(), but not the reversed arguments, hence my
confusion.

I still suspect there may be something not quite right, or which could
perhaps do with some tuning. It's difficult to see exactly how it's
working internally, since there's currently nothing to get a summary of
the dest_sets to userspace. I'll follow up if I find anything.

	If 'time to expire' is after current time then continue,
i.e. current time didn't reached the limit, seems correct,
no need to patch. For better reading and to match
ip_vs_lblcr_check_expire() it can be converted to:

if (time_before(now, en->lastuse+sysctl_ip_vs_lblcr_expiration))
	continue;

include/linux/jiffies.h:

time_after(a,b) returns true if the time a is after time b.
#define time_before(a,b)        time_after(b,a)

Hello!

I was noticing a significant amount of what seems/seemed to be
destination lists with multiple entries with the lblcr LVS algorithm.
While tracking it down, I think I stumbled over a mistake. In
ip_vs_lblcr_full_check(), it appears the time check logic is reversed:

        for (i=0, j=tbl->rover; i<IP_VS_LBLCR_TAB_SIZE; i++) {
                j = (j + 1) & IP_VS_LBLCR_TAB_MASK;

                write_lock(&svc->sched_lock);
                list_for_each_entry_safe(en, nxt, &tbl->bucket[j], list) {
                        if (time_after(en->lastuse+sysctl_ip_vs_lblcr_expiration,
                                       now))
                                continue;

                        ip_vs_lblcr_free(en);
                        atomic_dec(&tbl->entries);
                }
                write_unlock(&svc->sched_lock);
        }

Shouldn't this be "time_before"? It seems that it currently nukes all
recently-used entries every time this function is called, which seems to
be every 30 minutes, rather than removing the not-recently-used ones.

If my reading is correct, this patch should fix it. Am I missing
something?

Cheers,

Simon-

Maybe I'm a special kid. I have two filters for mailing lists. The
first simply tries to detect whether the mail comes from _any_ mailing
list. The second then sorts it into the appropriate mailbox. Anything
left over goes into unsorted (95% spam) or list/unsorted (<1% spam) if
it matched the generic mailing list rule, but no specific one.
list/unsorted usually fills up after subscribing to a new list or when
something changed. Not having all the spam mixed in is nice.

My rule to detect mailing lists is this:
 * ^(X-Mailing-List:|X-BeenThere:|X-Original-To:|Original-Recipient:|X-Loop:)

If it weren't for kvack.org and ozlabs.org, it could be just this:
 * ^(X-Mailing-List:|X-BeenThere:)

Not exactly the most important issue for humanity, that's for sure. :)

This is what I use, albeit as:

I don't see the point in adding it when the Sender: header works fine for
me. Right now I'm more worried about the state of the spam filtering.

Last test for a while, I hope. Just checking to see if spam filtering
is now functional again.

Fair enough.

I'm still struggling with the procmail recipe. linux-mm has always been
the oddball amongst all mailing lists and continues to be so - just in a
different way now. The old recipe looked for
* ^Original-Recipient:.*linux-mm@kvack.org
but that is gone now. Then I changed it to
* ^X-Loop:.*list-linux-mm@kvack.org
and this mail got misplaced[1], as it contained

> X-Loop: owner-majordomo@kvack.org

So maybe the right header to search for is this one.

> Sender: owner-linux-mm@kvack.org

Any chance that kvack can set either X-BeenThere: or X-Mailing-List: as
almost every other mailing list (the ppc ones set X-Original-To, alas)
does?

[1] The copy sent to me directly got properly sorted into my inbox. But
the mailing list copy went into my "no clue" mailbox.

The old mail server suffered from massive disk corruption last week,
so I took the chance to reinstall with a slightly more modern OS. The
mailing lists should be back to normal now.

Not sure what you were testing, but I suspect it is related to my
procmail rules breaking for linux-mm. Upon investigation I noticed that
the Original-Recipient: header is now missing. Bummer, about two dozen
mails to move manually after adjusting the rules to match what kvack is
sending.

Just out of curiosity, why this change?

I suggest sending your previous mail to the IB maintainer
(Roland Dreier: rolandd@cisco.com), or even to all of the
IB maintainers who are listed:

INFINIBAND SUBSYSTEM
P:	Roland Dreier
M:	rolandd@cisco.com
P:	Sean Hefty
M:	mshefty@ichips.intel.com
P:	Hal Rosenstock
M:	hal.rosenstock@gmail.com
L:	general@lists.openfabrics.org

Back to the mailing list/archive problem. marc.info was (is) still
taking KJ email from sourceforge.net. I have sent email requesting
that they begin taking KJ email from vger.kernel.org.
Thanks for noticing that problem.

You should be setting it from the main window, not a subsequent one:

Tools->options->[mail format tab] set the compose this message format to
plain text.

The preferences tab from tools->options allow you to set reply styling.

By setting the global you should find that most of your mails end up
correctly....that is not to say every now and thing something strange
doesn't happen. But its more on the order of several months, instead of
every few days.

Regards,

Richard W.
