Hello,

as I have 2.6.9 kernel and ASR 2200S controller (now without hang problems)

I can see this on totaly unloaded server (load 0.0 0.0 0.1)

undomiel:~# dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/null bs=1M count=1024
1024+0 records in
1024+0 records out
1073741824 bytes transferred in 24.339853 seconds (44114557 bytes/sec)
undomiel:~# dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/null bs=1M count=1024
1024+0 records in
1024+0 records out
1073741824 bytes transferred in 26.839943 seconds (40005369 bytes/sec)

I have 8x 73GB SCSI disks (4 per channel) set up into hardware RAID 5 array.

Should not I see more performance?
