The patch titled
     make drivers/char/mxser_new.c:mxser_hangup() static
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     make-drivers-char-mxser_newcmxser_hangup-static.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree
