I would guess:

  $ git remote add linux-next git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/sfr/linux-next.git
  $ git fetch linux-next

then use the remote branch names when poking about:

  $ git log -p linux-next/master

etc?


Or is there a better way?
