Ok, with today's commits (presumably 1ac45d0f945734fe9dcd6f006b0c626da6d7334f
is the one that matters, since the other two seem unrelated), EXA setup is
"fixed," but X comes up with a mostly black screen with random red, blue, and
green pixels every now and then, and big white bands and partial-bands across
the screen. Machine appears hard-locked (forgot to ssh-test, though, so might
have just been input-locked).
