Another solution to this would be that the platform implements a clock whose only purpose is to build a bridge between the driver and the clock tree. There may be more constrains, for example in some cases you may need a clock which also runs in different sleep states whereas sometimes you may need a clock which is turned of when in sleep mode. Another solution to this would be that the platform implements a clock whose only purpose is to build a bridge between the driver and the clock tree. There may be more constrains, for example in some cases you may need a clock which also runs in different sleep states whereas sometimes you may need a clock which is turned of when in sleep mode.
