From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Dan Williams Subject: [isci PATCH v2 15/18] libsas: drop sata port multiplier infrastructure Date: Sat, 10 Mar 2012 23:29:01 -0800 Message-ID: <20120311072901.6320.11263.stgit@dwillia2-linux.jf.intel.com> References: <20120311072518.6320.61717.stgit@dwillia2-linux.jf.intel.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Return-path: Received: from mga09.intel.com ([134.134.136.24]:43770 "EHLO mga09.intel.com" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1751788Ab2CKHNp (ORCPT ); Sun, 11 Mar 2012 03:13:45 -0400 In-Reply-To: <20120311072518.6320.61717.stgit@dwillia2-linux.jf.intel.com> Sender: linux-ide-owner@vger.kernel.org List-Id: linux-ide@vger.kernel.org To: linux-scsi@vger.kernel.org Cc: linux-ide@vger.kernel.org On the way to add a new sata_device field, noticed that libsas is carrying port multiplier infrastructure that is explicitly disabled by sas_discover_sata(). The aic94xx touches the unused port_no, so leave that field in case there was some use for it.
