Highlight is the reinstated hack to keep the i915 backlight on when running on an optimus machine, this prevents black screens especially with some radeon muxed platforms. And the patch to quiet dmesg on Linus' old mac mini ;-) Cheers, Daniel The following changes since commit c095ba7224d8edc71dcef0d655911399a8bd4a3f: Linux 3.11-rc4 (2013-08-04 13:46:46 -0700) are available in the git repository at: git://people.freedesktop.org/~danvet/drm-intel tags/drm-intel-fixes-2013-= 08-08 for you to fetch changes up to 3f577573cd5482a32f85bd131e52f7cb4b9ac518: drm/i915: do not disable backlight on vgaswitcheroo switch off (2013-08-0= 7 11:57:09 +0200) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Aaron Lu (1): drm/i915: avoid brightness overflow when doing scale Daniel Vetter (1): drm/i915: fix gen4 digital port hotplug definitions Jani Nikula (1): drm/i915: do not disable backlight on vgaswitcheroo switch off Paulo Zanoni (1): drm/i915: update last_vblank when disabling the power well Ville Syrj=E4l=E4 (1): drm/i915: Don't call encoder's get_config unless encoder is active drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_reg.h | 12 +++++++++--- drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c | 4 +++- drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_panel.c | 18 ++++++++++++++++-- drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_pm.c | 18 ++++++++++++++++++ 4 files changed, 46 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) -- = Daniel Vetter Software Engineer, Intel Corporation +41 (0) 79 365 57 48 - http://blog.ffwll.ch
