The tarball is out, and also the release statistics (see [1], or short
summary below).

Tom - can you please also update the web page with the schedule of the
next release, i. e. especially the end of the MW?

By the way, ALL software projects are done by iterative  prototyping.
Some companies call their prototypes "releases", that's all.
