From the perspective of the original comment (aghdr_init_data->numrecs), ISTM you'd still expect it to be zero in this example, regardless of whether the init function hardcodes insertion of a fixed number of entries or dynamically adds those (likely the same number of in the growfs case) entries. So what is the status of this series then? Is it being tossed in favor of something else that is pending?
