I saw that you added some unit tests below. Do those not provide
coverage for your new flag?

Since you have to send another revision of this patchset anyway, would
you mind rebasing this patchset on linux-kselftest/kunit?

Other than that and a couple of minor nits. This all looks good to me.

Can you leave this lowercase? It looks like we modify this in another
file, I think that leaving it lowercase helps indicate that this is not
a constant.
