Subject: [merged] padata-initialize-earlier.patch removed from -mm tree
Date: Thu, 04 Jun 2020 10:18:34 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20200604171834.3Z90jWoTJ%akpm@linux-foundation.org> (raw)

The patch titled
     Subject: padata: initialize earlier
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
     padata-initialize-earlier.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into mainline or a subsystem tree

From: Daniel Jordan <daniel.m.jordan@oracle.com>
Subject: padata: initialize earlier

padata will soon initialize the system's struct pages in parallel, so it
needs to be ready by page_alloc_init_late().

The error return from padata_driver_init() triggers an initcall warning,
so add a warning to padata_init() to avoid silent failure.
