Changes since v7:

- patch 8: moved calls to qtest_has_accel after g_test_init to avoid
           the TAP error;

- moved the avocado patch towards the end of the series so we can
  merge the rest without it if needed;

- two new patches to fix regressions due to gdbstub changes.
