Removed function, that already have been in kernel.
Changed locking policy to fix some potential bugs.
Changed code for readability.

We always need to lock now, because locks became smaller
(see d562e901f25d

Make code more readable.
Don't try to read zero bytes.
Add warning when size of exteneded attribute exceeds limit.
