This is something about an
incompatibilities with an old
exepack. For some reasons unpacking
fails if the program gets loaded
into the first 64Kb IIRC.
There are several ways of solving
the problem:

1 (my preference): unpack the file
with unp utility:
http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/45323.html
Once unpacked, the prog will work
forever since.

2 (haven't tried): use exepackfix
utility:
http://www.simtel.net/pub/pd/45310.html

3 (classic way): use loadfix utility
which comes with DOS distributions.
