From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Edward Cree Subject: [RFC PATCH v2 net-next 11/12] net: listify Generic XDP processing, part 2 Date: Tue, 26 Jun 2018 19:22:03 +0100 Message-ID: <4c0e3b9f-7bc7-6c43-97e4-ed9e56056e37@solarflare.com> References: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cc: To: , Return-path: Received: from dispatch1-us1.ppe-hosted.com ([67.231.154.164]:44354 "EHLO dispatch1-us1.ppe-hosted.com" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1752990AbeFZSWJ (ORCPT ); Tue, 26 Jun 2018 14:22:09 -0400 In-Reply-To: Content-Language: en-GB Sender: netdev-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: Adds listified versions of the eBPF interpreter functions, and uses them when the single func is not JITed. If the single func is JITed (and the list func is not, which currently it never is), then use the single func since the cost of interpreting is probably much worse than the cost of the extra indirect calls.
