Given that that branch is supposed to be a functionally-inert cleanup, and (judging by the DTS) this platform apparently isn't using PSCI anyway, it does seem a bit odd. Can you get any earlycon/earlyprintk output to suggest what the actual cause of the boot failure is? Robin.
