I can't help specifically.  You may need to ask on the relevant list.

Each area of the kernel keeps its own test suite I believe.  As an
example, a lot of the filesystems use xfstests as their test suite.

The reason for the name is primarily legacy I believe since
historically it only supported XFS.  Now it supports many filesystems.
