Hey Robert,

I've done this by prepending kernel configure task. It just copies the
*_defconfig file to WORKDIR as defconfig.

do_configure_prepend() {
    cp ${S}/arch/arm/configs/my_defconfig ${WORKDIR}/defconfig
}
