I know I'm late and this has gone through so many revisions, but I'm seeing unexplained changes in buildhistory: $ buildhistory-diff packages/corei7-64-intel-common-poky-linux/linux-intel/kernel-image-bzimage: FILELIST: removed "/boot/bzImage" Doing builds of virtual/kernel with and without this patch and comparing pkgdata directly confirms that the /boot/bzImage symlink doesn't exist with this patch but does without it.
