Hello folks,

Two days ago we started the voting to decide which BSP to include in
the upcoming Yocto Project 1.7 release. The options were:

We had 21 people voting. This is a great amount of people who expent
their time to read the discussion and ponder about the implication it
would cause in the next release.

So the voting ended as:

Option 1: 13
Option 2: 8

"Option 1" has received the majority of votes. With 61% of people
preferring this option. So the release of Yocto Project 1.7 will be
made with 3.10.17-GA BSP.

However this does not mean our work and test with the 3.10.31-Beta has
finished. The patches should be reviewed, cleaned up and merged into
master-next as soon as possible.

To facilitate the test with the next BSP, I discussed here at O.S.
Systems about the setup of an autobuilder instance to provide images
for master-next with the 3.10.31-1.1.0-beta machines enabled. This
will be done. We will include a specific instance for master-next and
people interested in testing it will be able to pick images for
testing.

Best Regards,
