  still crawling through environment manipulation code, and noticed:

  ...
  # ifdef CONFIG_ENV_IS_EMBEDDED
  #  error "do not define CONFIG_ENV_IS_EMBEDDED in your board config"
  #  error "it is calculated automatically for you"
  # endif
  ...
