Created attachment 1= 33806 [details] Backtrace of the kwin crash I use an AMD RX560 with Mesa 17.1.7 and Plasma 5.10.5 (ArchLinux). When I use the "thumbnails" Alt+Tab style for kwin, sooner or lat= er kwin will segfault while alt+tabbing. Without windows thumbnails, everything works ok. I reported this bug on the KDE bugtracker already : https://bugs.kde.= org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D383058 But the crash seems to come from the driver. It happened with previous Mesa 17.1 versions too. See the backtrace in attachment.

Nothing can be done about this without debugging symbols being= available for /usr/lib/xorg/modules/dri/radeonsi_dri.so in the backtrace.
How can I provide such debugging symbols?

I also reported a similar bug to KDE: https://bugs.kde.= org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D384901 and they sent me upstream. The backtrace is very similar. On the other hand, I am using the r600 dri module. It crashes every time I do alt+tab. I'll try to build with debug.

amdgpu is the kernel driver and radeonsi is the user mode mesa= driver. They both work together on your system.
Plasma updated to 5.12 today, and I no longer can reproduce th= is bug. I guess this was on their end afterall.
