I tried a systemd timer but it floods my dmesg every time it triggers and also
caused weird lag in systemd monitoring, perhaps writing to sysfs constantly has
a noticeable cost. Maybe someone could hack a kernel option to force it to high
as a temporary workaround? Unfortunately I'm ignorant in C.
