https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104109 Bug ID: 104109 Summary: After upgrade to kernel 4.13.16-302 one monitor in a two monitor displayport setup isn't working anymore. Product: xorg Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: Linux (All) Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: medium Component: Driver/nouveau Assignee: nouveau-PD4FTy7X32lNgt0PjOBp9y5qC8QIuHrW@public.gmane.org Reporter: torsten-LNXMr1lEAG4dnm+yROfE0A@public.gmane.org QA Contact: xorg-team-go0+a7rfsptAfugRpC6u6w@public.gmane.org Created attachment 135975 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=135975&action=edit kernel log (4.13.16-300) This issue comes in two parts which may be related to each other. First when upgrading to kernel 4.13.16-300 I began to have issues with one monitor when it went into sleep mode. I then saw errors like "disp: outp 03:0006:0f88: training failed". Checking xrandr showed that the monitor "existed" but it only showed a black screen. This behaviour was tested on both fedora 27 and ubuntu 16.04 LTS with all updates installed. The dual monitor setup was working prior to updating to kernel 4.13.16-300. When doing a kernel upgrade to 4.13.16-302 this monitor was not even found anymore by the nouveau driver. I will attach the following files: * kernel log 4.13.16-300 * kernel log 4.13.16-302 * xrandr when running kernel 4.13.16-300 * xrandr when running kernel 4.13.16-302 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
