Steps to reproduce:
- Lock session with Super+L and wait for monitor to go to sleep
- Type password

Expected result:
- Screen turns on, showing the unlocked session

Observed result:
- Screen turns on, but stays black. The monitor HUD shows no signal.

Reverting to 5.8.1 fixes the issue. GPU is an R9 Fury.
