There is software development and distribution. As the latter differs greatly it is somewhat unexpected for developers to know every distro, how they build their software, how its packaged, distributed etc. If you are willing to help, apart from reporting issues here, file them with the distribution and obviously link the two. This way they can prepare packages for you (and other affected people) to test. I fear that explaining over and over again that you don't have experience in building and/or bisecting does not really help. If you have the time to learn - great, otherwise seek assistance from your distribution. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. --1410555337.fa28e7c2.27319 Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2014 20:55:37 +0000 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8"

Maciej

Just a friendly note from a guy not involved with the radeon drivers or the AMD
team.

There is software development and distribution. As the latter differs greatly
it is somewhat unexpected for developers to know every distro, how they build
their software, how its packaged, distributed etc.
If you are willing to help, apart from reporting issues here, file them with
the distribution and obviously link the two. This way they can prepare packages
for you (and other affected people) to test.

I fear that explaining over and over again that you don't have experience in
building and/or bisecting does not really help. If you have the time to learn -
great, otherwise seek assistance from your distribution.
