Isar does not yet allow to override the image name. You'd basically have to weaken its setting like this [isar/meta/classes/image.bbclass] IMAGE_FULLNAME ?= "${PN}-${DISTRO}-${MACHINE}" and then you could override IMAGE_FULLNAME as desired.
