We want to do this on regular basis to make it easier to patch multi_v7_defconfig without introducing errors and merge conflicts. We update the defconfig in two patches to make sure we're not accidentally losing any needed options. After this, updating multi_v7_defconfig will become trivial, and most likely only a small follow-up patches are needed after the merge window to update it again for moved options. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Tony Lindgren (2): ARM: multi_v7_defconfig: Update for dropped options ARM: multi_v7_defconfig: Update for moved options arch/arm/configs/multi_v7_defconfig | 132 +++++++++++++++++------------------- 1 file changed, 63 insertions(+), 69 deletions(-) From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 Return-Path: X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.4.0 (2014-02-07) on aws-us-west-2-korg-lkml-1.web.codeaurora.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-13.0 required=3.0 tests=DKIMWL_WL_HIGH,DKIM_SIGNED, DKIM_VALID,HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS,INCLUDES_PULL_REQUEST, MAILING_LIST_MULTI,MENTIONS_GIT_HOSTING,SPF_PASS,URIBL_BLOCKED,USER_AGENT_GIT autolearn=ham autolearn_force=no version=3.4.0 Received: from mail.kernel.org (mail.kernel.org [198.145.29.99]) by smtp.lore.kernel.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 92F07C10F13 for ; Tue, 16 Apr 2019 16:14:13 +0000 (UTC) Received: from bombadil.infradead.org (bombadil.infradead.org [198.137.202.133]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by mail.kernel.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 6556320868 for ; Tue, 16 Apr 2019 16:14:13 +0000 (UTC) Authentication-Results: mail.kernel.org; dkim=pass (2048-bit key) header.d=lists.infradead.org header.i=@lists.infradead.org header.b="Tmh0ujSs" DMARC-Filter: OpenDMARC Filter v1.3.2 mail.kernel.org 6556320868 Authentication-Results: mail.kernel.org; dmarc=none (p=none dis=none) header.from=atomide.com Authentication-Results: mail.kernel.org; spf=none smtp.mailfrom=linux-arm-kernel-bounces+infradead-linux-arm-kernel=archiver.kernel.org@lists.infradead.org DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; q=dns/txt; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=lists.infradead.org; s=bombadil.20170209; h=Sender: Content-Transfer-Encoding:Content-Type:Cc:List-Subscribe:List-Help:List-Post: List-Archive:List-Unsubscribe:List-Id:MIME-Version:Message-Id:Date:Subject:To :From:Reply-To:Content-ID:Content-Description:Resent-Date:Resent-From: Resent-Sender:Resent-To:Resent-Cc:Resent-Message-ID:In-Reply-To:References: List-Owner; bh=2zCkc91/OjvVFU8Z5dgN7I9sp3N+N/+jUY04vFk0Fi0=; b=Tmh0ujSsY3ZLPI 7BSO/U2WT7MUe8TQkJmuGE5wSZ1PP7l/3TaFFEjXcPZlMIH4mJLEexKc1laRAAWu+ZIG0JnNfThfG iZYjl+QNi5QlvJr+xpYKoeiVVwZjvKbcn3P6ODbiAvZ4VWQppFZJ4Q+KW9KpXsOEPEHvxKqS1Jxzb m76tQ3VedFSfL5Bektb51m+V7bUXdXoFGgyeEdHG1Uuvt7YDe/4WHRa3uHFRz+TZ3xqv6Fuv9gk4w lD4kkWTppa1A2eOwWbe2lsb6ilWxkCCFAoTSG6T1Y7cptCtAXKOD93ZSSXOOr7vB24p03mIetXUCm XNxFY9WdmGzQ60wannDA==; Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] helo=bombadil.infradead.org) by bombadil.infradead.org with esmtp (Exim 4.90_1 #2 (Red Hat Linux)) id 1hGQio-0000d6-0U; Tue, 16 Apr 2019 16:14:10 +0000 Received: from muru.com ([72.249.23.125]) by bombadil.infradead.org with esmtp (Exim 4.90_1 #2 (Red Hat Linux)) id 1hGQik-0000ca-9P for linux-arm-kernel@lists.infradead.org; Tue, 16 Apr 2019 16:14:07 +0000 Received: from hillo.muru.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by muru.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id CBFE38081; Tue, 16 Apr 2019 16:14:20 +0000 (UTC) From: Tony Lindgren To: arm@kernel.org Subject: [GIT PULL] defconfig refresh for multi_v7_defconfig for v5.1 Date: Tue, 16 Apr 2019 09:13:37 -0700 Message-Id: X-Mailer: git-send-email 2.21.0 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-CRM114-Version: 20100106-BlameMichelson ( TRE 0.8.0 (BSD) ) MR-646709E3 X-CRM114-CacheID: sfid-20190416_091406_367508_0820AE96 X-CRM114-Status: UNSURE ( 9.83 ) X-CRM114-Notice: Please train this message.
